Flinstones for Winstons

Winstones taste good, like a cigarette should...

It's amazing that these things used to be on TV.

I remember in High School hearing about how Joe Camel was targetting children and I thought the idea was overboard. Of course, that was when I was in high school smoking. It's amazing how much the sin industry (cigarettes, alcohol, pornography, etc.) target underage people today, but it's nothing compared to how it used to be.

I'm very surprised that there is not more internet advertising for cigarettes and beer - much less regulatory problems - but then again, I don't generally pay attention to advertisements that aren't text based online. For all I know, they are advertising all over espn.com or myspace or wherever it is that the young crowd is hanging out online.

Then again, where would the world be without cigarettes and beer? There would be a lot of angry people roaming the streets if the prohibition lobby were to grow legs again.
