Note to School Teachers

Note to school teachers - you have to be blonde and hot to get away with it. Apparently, just being female doesn't cut it. Schmeca White has been sentenced for an incident which involved stripping before her students. She received 9 years, plus four years probation.

While Debra LaFave eventually admitted to what she did and simply pointed the blame elsewhere (her craziness, her parents, her old boyfriend, the kid), Schmeca maintains her innocence. How exactly can there be a question of whether or not the teacher stripped in front of a classroom full of kids? I suppose her lawyers couldn't explain that one either.

There is a growing trend of young teachers crossing the lines with their students. The problem in my mind lies with the political background associated with education.

Schools are understaffed and when funding does come around to staff schools properly it comes in such a massive flooding that schools end up competing for candidates and end up hiring teachers who are not qualified and on top of that they end up not supervising the new teachers properly.

Most parents have a certain amount of trust that they place in schools, in authority figures at schools, and with teachers. That trust is dwindling now that we have scandals like this one permeating the airwaves at least once a quarter. Primary education is the foundation of the future of our nation. Schools don't just need better funding, they need better management. If you take a look at how much funding is tagged for education on an annual basis you would be astounded - but so much of that funding is mis-managed and very little is done about the mismanagement.
