Why I believe in myself

I have to ask myself the question - why do I believe I can do it? What makes me think that I can garner enough interest in my own efforts that I can replace my current income level?

First, I should say - it didn't start out like this. I had Amway-ish plans of building my online income incrementally until I had reached a point where my online work is all that I had to do. After a couple of years of that line of thinking what I found is that I was back-burnering my online workload for incredible amounts of time and not following through with things because my offline activities were more important to me.

I was impressed, however, with the modicum of success I had achieved considering the small amount of focused time that I did put into things.

I'm concerned that a six month window is not enough time to build a meaningful income online. Depending on how the search engine overlords treat me, I could be looking at an income level somewhere around $74 a month at the end of my window.

But to answer my own question - I believe in myself because I know that I'm a better than average person (no offense to the reader :) ). I know that I have a base of knowledge about the online world that is exceptionally strong, and that I have a decent understanding of what I don't know and still have to learn. I know that my family depends on me and that no matter what I will not let them down.

My timeline for success is tight and I work well under pressure. In a way, building an online infrastructure strong enough to support my family is a dream of mine. A dream that I believe is realistic to achieve. When your dreams are close enough for you to grasp, you do what it takes to make them real. For me - all of this online work is fun - from web design to content development to community interaction. I'm going to be having fun while acheiving a dream - how can you not believe in that?!?I have to ask myself the question - why do I believe I can do it? What makes me think that I can garner enough interest in my own efforts that I can replace my current income level?
