| | We've been running squid for a couple of years now. Our squid servers are limited to about 90 concurrent transactions and there are 3 load balanced servers. Granted our servers are very underpowered by today's standards (they were underpowered at the time when we bought them). I honestly never thought about copying files instead proxy-caching them - nobody on our team ever brought that up. I bet we could increase the throughput on our proxy servers by 1000%! I'm going to go into a meeting and get myself a promotion now. If I get shot instead, I blame you! My URL: | ||
