We're all familiar with the MVC architecture basics. Well, at least us programmers are familiar with MVC. The idea with MVC (Model View Controller) is that you separate your data model, from your user interface, and both of those is separate from your code base. This is a good way to start, but MVC on its surface does not account for multi-tiered architecture.
