I swore off of political posts for some time, but this one had to be made. The trial of Saddam Hussein has come to a close, and a verdict is expected very soon. Does anybody else find it odd that the Hussein trial is coming to verdict just three days before the elections? What headline would be more welcome to bring terrorism to the front mind of voters?
The thing that really irks me is that I'm going to have to listen to a bunch of Saddam Hussein blabber while I'm trying to enjoy my Sunday afternoon football.
