Putting it Simply
I have neither the time nor the inclination to concern myself with the private information of my web site visitors. I certainly go about traditional webmaster tasks, such as logfile analysis for various reasons such as site maintenance and gaining an understanding of the user activity on my sites.
Third Parties
I do not normally use third parties for analysis of my site, but I reserve the right to do so. Any third party brought in for assistance will do so with the understanding that any information about my web site visitors shall is proprietary and they cannot use it for any reason other than the purpose that I hired them for. In regards to Law Enforcement or any other entity that would potentially force the issue of viewing private data, I will use the law, and where there is no clear rule of law, my own discretion and judgement as to what they can have access to. The important part here is that I will not be providing your information to spammers, selling it to some unknown third party for a profit, or any other nefarious activity.
Abuse
If you feel your private information has been abused by this web site, or have any abuse related concerns, please post the details of said concerns in the Support Area. I pledge to respond to abuse concerns within 30 days. It certainly may happen sooner, but I prefer to make a commitment with a time frame that accounts for vacations or unforseen circumstances that would pull my attention away. You may also see the contact page for other methods of communication, but I will only make a commitment to respond to concerns posted in the Support Area. Having a single area which generates a record of communication is the most reasonable thing to do.
Email Communication
Automatic E-mails get generated and sent from the discussion area, and potentially other currently unreleased sections of this website. If you don't want these e-mails you can opt out of them. Opt-out instructions are in the discussion area FAQ.
